STRIKE CRIPPLES INTERNATIONAL INTERNET ART SCENE
By a TuleVision Staff Reporter
The internationally renowned TuleVision website, usually a hotbed of nascent artists' activities, was virtually stagnant for one third of the 2000 - 2001 Winter Internet Arts season due to a nasty labor dispute.
Threatened by a salary cut, the entire cast and crew exited the TuleVision compound in unison chanting, "Less work for less pay!" and "Cut our salaries some other day!" This happened on December 15, 2000.
As word of the labor action spread in certain internet inner circles, an Internet Artists Labor Advisory Board was hastily formed to arbitrate the matter. This happened on January 12, 2001.
"It [the resolution of the dispute] was simply a matter of everyone sitting around a table and discussing the situation in a civil manner," explained the Editor of TuleVision. "Once the fact that no staff members were being paid for their work came to light, it became clear that salary cuts were irrelevant."
"In retrospect, that which appeared to be a dispute was simply a misunderstanding," observed Bob Faire, Esq., TuleVision's legal correspondent.
Reportedly, the TuleVision cast and crew have returned to the TuleVision facilities looking quite rested.

POETRY BARN SOON TO DEBUT ON TULEVISION

By another TuleVision Staff Reporter

Spurred by a viewer email, Alger Tule (the Founder of TuleVision) announced the onset of construction of a new feature at TuleVision - The Poetry Barn.
"We'll start right away, by gum!" With this battle cry, Mr. Tule took a large spoon from the TuleVision staff lounge pantry, marched outside and performed an instant groundbreaking ceremony next to the TuleVision Essay Gallery, proclaiming, "It'll go right here!"
More information regarding submissions to the Poetry Barn is available at the Viewer Verse Vessel.

"It's not that time passes faster when you're old - it's that each day seems to last a year when you're young."
